Elegant kimono Pattern Scarf
Artistic fringe scarf
€220.00
This scarf was made from a kimono called kurotomesode, made around 1950-1960. This kimono was made from a prestigious kimono worn by mothers at their children's weddings. It is a special kimono that shared the happy time of a family wedding and a mother's love for her child together. This kimono was carefully unraveled and cleaned to create three kimono scarves with different designs.
This pattern represents the flow of water. The orange and yellow colors used in the drawing indicate that it is dusk, the sunset is reflecting off the water and shining orange, and the wind is blowing gently. The surface of the water is shaken by the wind, creating a pattern. People in the past were so impressed by the beauty of the combination of time of day and natural phenomena that they painted pictures on their kimonos. The reflections of light are expressed as shining with gold powder.
Since it is an old cloth, there was a hole in the fabric, so I sewed on another piece of fabric marked "kamon".
Add a touch of sophistication to your wardrobe with this beautifully designed swirl pattern scarf. Featuring vibrant golden, red, and black accents with stylish fringes on both ends, it's perfect for both casual and formal occasions.
