This scarf was made using three girls' kimonos to create three different scarfs with different designs. The kimono were made in the 1970's-1990's. The kimonos were made in the 1970s-1990s. The front fabric is called tsujigahana, and the tsujigahana pattern is expressed using the tie-dyeing and hand-painting techniques. In tie-dyeing, the cloth is squeezed with thread to soak up the dye, creating a three-dimensional pattern. On the other hand, in hand-painting, the dye is applied directly onto the cloth to create the pattern. One of the Tujigahana methods involves hand-drawing outlines on a pattern dyed by shibori. This is a Japanese dyeing method created by craftsmen over time.

On the back is a shiny fabric with a fan pattern.

Using the fabric created with the passion of Japanese craftsmen, we have nunoed a scarf that can be used in daily life.
