Patchwork Winter Scarf

New pieces are born by unraveling a kimono cherished by someone in Japan and combining it with fabrics from other countries. These fabrics, crossing time and borders, continue to live on in the history of their new owners.

This scarf is made by sewing together small scraps of fabric. Kimono fabric, fabric from a European country. Small pieces come together to create a scarf that will keep someone warm.

This scarf is made from wool collected from all over Europe, Japanese kimono fabric, and vintage cloth. I also use fabrics of unknown origin.
