This is a patchwork of men's wool kimonos. Part of it is a modern patchwork made of three different types of vintage woven silk kimonos and navy blue wool that used to be kimono jackets. And I use a soft cotton mix fabric made in Europe, which is gentle around the neck.

A new piece is born when a kimono that was once treasured by someone in Japan is unraveled and combined with fabric from another country. The fabrics that come together, transcending time and borders, live on in the history of their new owners.
